Salmon cooked in foil fully garnished

Salmon in Foil

Ingredients:

4 (4-ounce) salmon fillets

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices lemon

4 sprigs fresh dill

4 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

Place a salmon fillet on a sheet of aluminum foil and top with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh dill.

Dot the top of the salmon with butter.

Fold the aluminum foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet. Repeat with the remaining salmon fillets.

Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Carefully open the foil packets and serve the salmon hot, with the lemon and dill.

This recipe can be easily customized to your liking by adding different herbs and spices to the salmon before sealing the foil packets. You can also try using different types of citrus, such as lime or orange, in place of the lemon. Remember to check with a healthcare team and registered dietitian to ensure that this recipe is appropriate for your individual needs and goals.
