What is Chenille? 

 

Chenille is a material used for fly tying to create a thicker bodied fly. It is made with a core consisting of thread with tufts of fiber adhered to it, giving it a fuzzy textured appearance. You can find chenille in a variety of colors, thicknesses, and textures, allowing the tyre the ability to imitate the look of many different types of insects and baitfish.
